Jean-Clément approaches the violinmaking world as a self-taugh, and trained with the luthiers Pascal Lavigne in Grenoble from 2005 to 2008 and Charles Coquet in Paris from 2009 to 2017.

Rich of these twelve years spent at the bench, he opened his workshop in Saint-Denis (9320) and is now dedicating his time to his own production of stringed instruments.
