BENOIT BONTEN
Fervent music lover, Benoit makes his first wood shavings in Argentina in 2001, during a student exchange program in Buenos Aires.
Upon his return, he joined the Violin Making School of Mirecourt and graduated in 2006. He continued his training in various workshops, from Brussels to Maastricht and Barcelona.
In 2008, he became assistant of Gonzalo Bayolo, violin maker in Saint Jacques de Compostelle.
Now established in Aveyron, France, he divides his time between making and restoring modern and baroque instruments.
